SERIOUS ABOUT PLAY
Physical play is crucial in mental, spiritual and physical growth. Through play, we learn about the nature of challenge and risk, adaptability and creativity, building community, empowerment and confidence. We must make space for playfulness in our lives in order to be healthy. The spaces we move in ought to nourish us and our environment so lets create healthy spaces for play that serve multiple purposes, including caring for the Earth.
THE RIGHT MIX
We firmly believe that to design spaces for play, one needs a solid foundation in playfulness, an understanding of design principles, and a good footing in construction standards for said spaces. We have been involved in a variety of action sports over the span of a few decades where we have learned about materials and tested their limits, the forces at play and how that affects a safe, sturdy design and most importantly, the kind of spaces that inspire creativity and movement across generations. We are dedicated to designing with the environment in mind so we work closely with professionals in the fields of green building, permaculture, and community development to collaborate on innovative, responsible design ideas.
DESIGN CONSULTING
With decades of experience in different physical disciplines all over the world, we are uniquely positioned to design a variety of sport facilities, mixed-use spaces and recreational landscapes integrated into a large variety of developments from rural to urban contexts. We offer design consultation for everything from small residential gardens to large public space projects, home gyms to full-scale recreational facilities. We also offer a catalogue of standard equipment we’ve developed for easy installation at your home or small business.

TALAL COCKAR
Director, Designer, Builder
As a Parkour coach, skater, climber, youth worker and street artist, Talal has been interacting with public spaces for many years and decided to marry it with his love for design by creating Rad Earth Ltd. A Nairobi native, he was already designing and building his own skate ramps at age 17 (long, long ago in the 90’s) when it was a mission just to get a skateboard to Kenya. He enjoys coaching his own children now in any endeavor they choose (mostly parkour and skateboarding) and exploring the world through movement. He has a passion for empowering the youth and helping to provide positive avenues for them to explore in the creation of recreational public spaces.
DANIEL GLUCHE
Design Consultant
Daniel started skateboarding in the early 90´s in a small village in Europe and at that time, it was normal to build your own ramps and skate spots, starting with launch ramps up to small DIY skateparks. Skateboarding brought Daniel to a variety of different public spaces in different countries across the world where he was able to contemplate the dynamics of safety, movement and use of these spaces. He also started his martial arts journey in the mid-90s while making a living creating Digital Transformation Projects for companies and organisations. Daniel has the dream, through Rad Earth, to focus on creating safer communities and fun spaces to move in.

As climbers, skaters and adventurers themselves, they understand what goes into building high quality equipment.
